Full text version of the song “Señora Ley”.”

Lied “Señora Ley”, composed by Ramón Rodríguez of Conjunto Clásico, included in the album “Llegó La Ley” (1985), with Tito Nieves at the end.

Conjunto Clásico was founded in New York by Ray Castro and Ramón Rodríguez. In 1979 Tito Nieves worked with Hector Lavoe together, but he returned to the project. Ramón had already worked a year earlier with Tito on an LP of the Orchesters La Masacre, and they were able to perform very well.
This song was written by the Dominican musician Fernando Villalona, a Merengue-Größe from the Dominican Republic, who had a problem with doping and who has been living in poverty.
The song is in the Tonart c-Moll, begins in Clave 3-2, but is repeated shortly before the beginning of the Montuno in Clave 2-3.
