This week we release the complete transcription of the song \u201cFuego en el 23\u201d, a composition by the legendary Cuban musician Arsenio Rodriguez, inspired by a true story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, in 1969, under the direction of maestro Enrique \u201cQuique\u201d Lucca and the arrangement of the great Papo Lucca, they produced the first version of the Sonora Ponce\u00f1a, published in the album \u201cFuego en el 23\u201d (Inca Records 1969) with the voices of Luigi Texidor and Tito G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve years later it was updated and Sonora Ponce\u00f1a released a new version on the album \u201cJubilee\u201d in 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Piano Salsa we wanted to transcribe the first version recorded by the Sonora Ponce\u00f1a as a tribute to one of the greatest pianists in the history of salsa, maestro Papo Lucca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
