This week, we publish the complete transcription of the song \u00abFuego en el 23\u00bb, a composition of the legendary Cuban musician Arsenio Rodriguez, inspired by a true story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few years later, in 1969, under the direction of maestro Enrique \u00abQuique\u00bb Lucca and the arrangement of the great Papo Lucca, they produced the first version of the Sonora Ponce\u00f1a, published in the album \u00abFuego en el 23\u00bb (Inca Records 1969) with the voices of Luigi Texidor and Tito G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve years later, it was updated and Sonora Ponce\u00f1a released a new version on the album \u00abJubilee\u00bb in 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Piano Salsa, we wanted to record the first version recorded by Sonora Ponce\u00f1a in homage to one of the greatest pianists in the history of salsa, maestro Papo Lucca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
