This week we will open the complete transcription of the song \u201eFuego en el 23\u201c, a composition by the legendary Cuban musician Arsenio Rodriguez, inspired by a long history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, in 1969, under the leadership of Maestro Enrique \u201eQuique\u201c Lucca and the Arrangement of the great Papo Lucca, the first version of Sonora Ponce\u00f1a was released on the album \u201eFuego en el 23\u201c (Inca Records 1969) with the voices of Luigi Texidor and Tito G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty-five years later it was updated and Sonora Ponce\u00f1a released a new version on the album \u201eJubilee\u201c in 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Piano Salsa, we wanted to transfer the first version, which was taken from the Sonora Ponce\u00f1a, in order to hear one of the greatest pianists in the history of Salsa, Maestro Papo Lucca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
