W<\/span>n fait, le choix d'une strat\u00e9gie implique de prendre des d\u00e9cisions qui excluent explicitement des possibilit\u00e9s et des options. Un cadre peut craindre qu'une erreur dans ces d\u00e9cisions ne ruine sa carri\u00e8re. La r\u00e9action naturelle est de rendre le d\u00e9fi moins intimidant en le transformant en un probl\u00e8me qui peut \u00eatre r\u00e9solu \u00e0 l'aide d'outils \u00e9prouv\u00e9s. Cela signifie presque toujours qu'il faut passer des semaines, voire des mois, \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer un plan complet sur la mani\u00e8re dont l'entreprise investira dans les actifs et les capacit\u00e9s existants et nouveaux afin d'atteindre un objectif - une part accrue du march\u00e9, par exemple, ou une part d'un nouveau march\u00e9.
