Seid gegrüßt, Freunde und Anhänger von Piano Salsa! Today we present a new Video-Tutorial, the Lied: THE TRUCKER, bekannt geworden durch Frankie Ruiz y su Orquesta.
The most popular version in Kolumbien is the Salsa version, but the original version of the song should have been written by a country composer in the 60s. Der Originaltitel lautet ‘Gentle On My Mind’. Zu den bekanntesten Versionen gehören die Coverversionen von großen Musikern wie Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley und Glen Campbell. In 1984 the song became popular in Latin America thanks to a ballad version by Brazilian songwriter Roberto Carlos. The singer won the Portuguese version of the song, “Caminhoneiro”. The song was so successful that the singer even wrote a Spanish version. The version known in Colombia and in the Salsa world is made up of Frankie Ruiz, which in the following year (1985) is a Salsa-Coverversion of the Spanish version of the singer Roberto Carlos.
